Nature Girl

My submission to AFA’s t‑shirt contest is a digital illustration featuring a Sitka spruce surrounded by native flowers and fungi found in British Columbia’s ancient forests, emphasizing their rich biodiversity and the importance of positive human connection with these ecosystems. The piece expresses the reciprocal benefits of respecting and caring for natural places: by maintaining and restoring ancient forests, we support their continued existence while also nurturing our own physical and mental wellbeing.
